Our garden is being continuously updated to provide outside natural experiences to develop all of the areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage document(EYFS) (DfE 2019). The children are encouraged to build on their independent skills, to take safe risks. This builds their self confidence and provides much fun. These opportunities link with the national guidelines which the setting develops their planning and assessment from.

These include the characteristics of effective learning – Playing and exploring- Active learning-Creating and thinking critically. All of our children have time to enjoy our gardens during the day. We have suitable clothing for rain, snow and sun shine spare to ensure no one misses out.

We provide learning and imaginative rich environments, We are working hard to enhance children’s love of  Literacy and Mathematics. Through play and experiences the learning becomes natural.
